History of the North Monterey County Chamber of Commerce

The North Monterey County Chamber of Commerce was organized on January 26, 1931. It was originally known as the Castroville Chamber of Commerce. For 73 years, the Castroville Chamber of Commerce served the businesses and the community of Castroville. In September of 2004, the Castroville Chamber of Commerce merged with the Prunedale Chamber of Commerce and officially became known as the North Monterey County Chamber of Commerce.

In 2020, we will be celebrating 89 years as a chamber of commerce.
